Using the Parallel Port

Follow these steps to connect a parallel printer to your

computer:

1.

Place the printer next to the computer with their backs facing

you.

2.

Position the appropriate end of the printer cable to line up

with the parallel port on the computer, as shown below.

Then plug it in. If the plug has retaining screws, be sure to

tighten them.
